Yolanda Stange
President

Yolanda Stange is a Actress/Producer/Director who got her start right here in Utah over 15 years ago. She has worked on over 25 feature films here in Utah, filmed over a 100 industrials and guest starred on CBS's Young and the Restless. She is the co-founder of Radical Hospitality Theater Salt Lake's newest pop-up dinner theater. She is the co-creator of Monologue Monday, PARC, a performing artist resource center and In Our Skin, a kids and teens play writing competition. She is a proud member of SAG and Equity Actors.

To the ladies of UWIF,

I am committed to making UWIF a value to you and the lmmaking community. My goals for this organization are simple and direct. To increase the professionalism of the organization. Enhance the training and services members receive. By acquiring more professional-level members, fundraising and community outreach, I believe that UWIF can provide it's members and Utah filmmakers the education and opportunities to succeed.

Susan McEvoy
Vice- President

Sue joined Utah Women in Film in 2013 and was elected to its Board of Directors in 2014, as the Director of Funding & Sponsorships and in 2016 as Vice President. 

Her film work includes writing several feature-length scripts and writer-for-hire projects, as a screenplay analyst and prejudging writing competitions for the former National Writers Workshop in Los Angeles.  While in Utah, Sue has produced one feature film and is currently in pre-production for her second.  

 Her corporate background includes more than 20 years of experience in management positions in the fields of finance and aviation as a Training Manager and Instructional Designer and was appointed by local town and city officials to serve on their Diversity Committee and as an Airport Commissioner for a municipal city airport.

UWIF: My vision for Utah Women in Film is to be among the very best of the WIF organizations worldwide.  To accomplish this, fundraising through donations and grants is essential to our success.  As we reorganize Utah Women in Film in the next few months, many new programs and member benefits will be introduced to our members.

Denise Brossman
Director of Development

As a Marketing, Public Relations and Communications Guru, Denise spends her non-writing time helping nonprofits and creatives promote their work and exceed their goals.  She has provided assistance to Utah Women in Film over the past year and her expertise has been invaluable during our reconstruction process.

An award-winning writer and marketer, her Irish historical fiction script, “Labor of The Gods” was awarded the 2013 Grand Prize for Best Original Screenplay from the Philadelphia Film Commission. 

Denise writes for three shows on NBC Universal’s Sprout Network and other credits include Jeff Foxworthy and a sitcom option with Fox.  


Lauren Call
Marketing Chair

Lauren is an actor from Southern California. She holds a BFA in Screen Acting and BA in Public Relations from Chapman University. Since moving to Salt Lake City in 2012, Lauren has become passionate about upholding the professionalism of the film community and promoting everything Utah has to offer to the rest of the film world.

With extensive experience in marketing and public relations, Lauren is eager to lend a hand to Utah Women in Film in their efforts to enable more women in the community to tell their stories. 


Tara Norton
Special Events Chair

Tara is thrilled to be working with UWIF as the Special Events Chair. She had the opportunity to learn and execute the skill sets of event coordinating, menu planning and decorating for many of Salt Lake City's most notorious events. Including: 2002 Winter Olympics, Outdoor Retail Convention, Sundance Film Festival, and many others. 

She is honored to have an opportunity to work with the women in Utah, collaborating in the arts to impact our community and firmly believes that together we can make a difference.
